which came first, the claim that god exist or atheism? your implying that atheism claimed no god exist as if independent to the god claim, if the god claim didn't exist, atheism wouldn't exist.


I'm sorry, let me rephrase it, when you say no god exist or dont believe that god exist thats a claim which carries the burden of prof.

from the history of mankind, human already have a concept of a perfect being even before the holy scriptures were not been written. Did someone tell them? No they already have that knowledge from when they born. You can imply the ideology of rationalism here. So theist claims about God is the first one.

The reason why some people are questioning about God existence are:
First when human suffered from many kinds of problems, and disasters. There is no God, if God exist life must be perfect.
second when science evidences discredited creationism. (well for atheist)
there is more reason why atheist exist. I stated those two because those are the most common.

Now what is the reason you became atheist? If your reason is in those two meaning you're standing in a belief that God didnt exist because of this and that. conclusion? You used that reason to "claim" that there is no God.

Well there is no specific evidence of God existence but there are indirect evidences about God existence.

Atheist is a belief meaning you claimed that there is no God. From what I know "a" means "no" "theos" means God. As simple as that, you cannot say "atheist dont believe in God=false because it is contradicting in the term atheist.

Let me correct you a bit. What's the difference between the words 'asocial' vs 'antisocial'? The word asocial is pertaining to a person or a character that is simply not inclined into social gatherings or masses of people. no, the reason I'm an athiest is because someone told me that god exist and I questioned it, the answer was not convincing
humans feared nature because they did not understand it at that time and created a higher being , zues for example.

Here's my take on this.

Theism came first. Mankind always have the instinct to try to understand and explain the things that are going on around them.

It always have been a question of WHY, WHAT, HOW, etc and they wanted to fill in those blanks.

They turn to nature, wat they can readily observe. As they cant have a definite understanding of everything they went beyond nature and turned to the "supernatural" and later on to a god. So there was a gap in mankind's limited knowledge and they filled that gap with god.

The questions are are still echoing generations after generations and since no better explanation was discovered, mankind began to accept the "god-filler" as truth.

A lot have happend since then. Better and definite answers have been discovered giving less and less credit to the god claim.

Its more than a tragedy or a life of struggles that turns believers into non-believers...but that can be a spark. As they seek to find answers they just grew further and further away .while for some...they cudve been always skeptic and such an event cudve been the affirmation of their skepticism..

Or there cud've been none at all..and its just that logic cant seem to connect to the dots to make a valid argument to believe.
