On getting older and learning to find comfort beyond the material world.
Growing up,
I used to find solace in material things that I couldn't bare to lose.
They called them "transitional objects".
Things people hold onto for comfort... they always gave me a sense of home.
When I got older, it began to seem silly.
I started to turn to less tangible things for hope and to cheer myself up.
Whether it's reading a certain chapter over and over, watching the same movie 14 times a month, or drowning in a constantly rotating playlist of sad songs.
They became a modern security blankets and I dont have to be afraid of losing them anymore.
I'll always carry them with me because of the things I learned a long the way.
