Rolling luggage wasn't always the standard travel design it is today. Traditional suitcases were generally carried by handles, making heavy luggage considerably more cumbersome.
The development and widespread adoption of wheeled luggage changed how travelers move through airports, train stations, and hotels.
Modern spinner wheels made maneuvering even easier by allowing luggage to move in multiple directions. A small mechanical change transformed an everyday part of travel.
