Agricultural land is increasingly being incorporated into Philippine tourism. In Atok, Benguet, flower farms have become destinations where visitors can experience cultivated landscapes rather than simply passing through agricultural areas.
Northern Blossom is one example of a farm that developed into a sought-after tourism destination.
Farm tourism can create additional income for rural communities while giving visitors direct exposure to agriculture and local landscapes. It also creates a different type of travel experience from conventional hotels and beaches.
A working farm can become both a source of food and a recreational destination.
