any firmware i have downloaded here has not worked for my m028t mifi
please help me .... thanks
I don't know your location and your system board but try this firmware https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7wb9gQ7PymeaklSTXREdms1dXM/view again and UNTICK everything under "Options". Was facing similar issues and it worked for me. Who knows might work for you too.

BAD it have Ouganda firmware which break others MIFI
You don't know what you are saying...it will break your MIFI if you don't know what you are doing and you don't know your device info

That firmware openlined mifi of usher105 and several others...
It also fix mifi of previous flashers of M022T by trying to mix and match the files. So if you don't know how to port and all you want to do is to flash and flash then definitely your mifi will be brick

Hi guys.. this is my first post so be gentle.
Same problem like some here. I have a M028AT which accepted most firmwares I threw at it until I flashed the dreaded Uganda Vodafone firmware. Now I can't seem to flash anything else.. except for the dreaded firmware. I get a 'WTPTP Error: FBF_VersionNotMatch' error.
I've tried mixing different OSLO, RFBN, RBLI and RBLR files but nothing works. I even tried using a more recent version of SWDownloader (ver. 4.8.5.4 together with the bundled wtptp ver. 6.4.0.1 driver) but I still get the same error.
Hopefully someone smarter can come up with a workaround.
To anyone else tinkering with a M028AT, please don't mess with the Uganda Vodafone firmware.

The more important is to know how to do a backup and the other will be simple i think !

True. And the only way I can think of doing that is through the 'Upload>Upload Area(s) Configuration' menu.
Every flash file (TIMH, RFBN, WEBI, APNL etc) has a unique 'Flash entry address' and an accompanying 'Load address' which I think can be used to generate the appropriate hexadecimal 'Offset' and 'DataSize' for creating a binary file dump of the modem.
It looks like a lot of work.

True, but i succed only to copy Reliable Data. How now to have 'Flash entry address' and 'Load address' ?

I've tried using the flash entry address as my offset and the erase size as my datasize but the resulting binaries are not the same size as the identical files in the firmware (the dreaded Uganda Vodafone firmware)
Does anyone here have enough experience with console tools like TimBuilder?

Maybe I'm crazy enough to pull this off.. let's say I tick the 'Erase All Flash' option and unplug the device immediately after it's done erasing, will this brick the device?
Has someone out there tried something as dumb and crazy like that?

So..
I tried it and I'm glad I did. To anyone else who tried flashing the dreaded Uganda Vodafone firmware, reflash the same firmware and make sure to tick the'Erase All Flash' option and keep your eyes fixed on the progress bar. When it say 100% during the 'erasing' phase, unplug the device and don't wait for it to finish.
I've managed to get rid of the Uganda Vodafone firmware this way. I have flashed a certain Smart Bro firmware (FX_PR2L_FNL_VER) and it's working just fine except for the part where I can't get it to detect any network.
Anywho.. it's a work in progress.
Maybe I need to mix and match different RFBN/RBLI/OSLO.
