Confidential Fund/Intel Is The Key
Negosyo kasi ng Amerika ang gyera so they need to profit from it. Pero sad to say, harmonious relations between the Philippines and China is not profitable for America. Only a state of perpetual elevated tensions in the South China Sea brings in the needed returns for America. I can only say the...
Just A Thought
"As a Filipino and as an Asian, I don't want my country to be a battleground," said Raul L Lambino, chairman of Philippine New Energy Group Inc. He noted that there is a very strong sinophobia in the Philippines, but there are still some Filipinos who really love China and the Chinese people. Former Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai responded that if external interference can be eliminated, the China-Philippines relationship will return to a track of healthy development and mutually beneficial cooperation. https://www.facebook.com/100009531437158/posts/3766341393693538/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v
Best of the Best? Senate or Barangay?
Would regionally elected senators be better for the country than nationally elected senators? Although the nation would like to know the truth behind the controversies surrounding the New Senate Building (NSB), the people also expects their Senators to act and conduct their hearings properly, orderly and clearly. Hearings the youth can emulate and understand principles of governance, democracy and accountability relative to national security among others. We do not expect a Senate hearing to look like barangay mishaps of couples arguing about a family house they are building. Wag naman maging parang barangay yung senate hearing ng away mag asawa na nagpapagawa ng bahay. Nakakahiya....pero very entertaining... Obviously, nangibabaw...
Balilo Lambasts Tarriela,Says CCG Offered Help
THE PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD CAN NO LONGER STOMACH THE LIES OF JAY TARRIELA The actual spox of the @coastguardph Rear Admiral Armand Balilo is putting his suborinate Jay Tarriela in his proper place, and practically telling us that Tarriela is a liar. Tarriela has been shamelessly parroting the US narrative in the South China Sea, and is clearly doing propaganda work, under the clever guise of patriotism. But it seems his fellow officers in the PCG have had enough. Balilo lambasts Tarriela, says CCG offered help
The Question
A #WorkingVisit in the context of foreign relations typically refers to a visit by a member of a foreign government at the invitation of their counterpart in another country. The purpose of a working visit is to facilitate effective bilateral relations and further develop them. Overall, a working visit in foreign relations serves as a platform for foreign officials to engage in official discussions and activities with their counterparts in another country...
Player 3 Has Joined The Game.
From the article, “The Government of Malaysia categorically rejects the Philippines’ Partial Submission on the basis that the Republic of the Philippines’ continental margin is projected from the baselines of the Malaysian state of Sabah. This clearly disregards Malaysia’s indisputable sovereignty over the state of Sabah,” the mission said. The mission said Sabah has always been an integral part of Malaysia, and has been “recognized” by the UN and the international community as part of Malaysia since the formation of the Federation of Malaysia on Sept. 16, 1963.
Tariffs War
EU imposes high tariffs on Chinese EV vehicles because of accusation of Chinese government subsidies in their EV sector. China retaliated: they will impose high tariffs on pork being exported by the EU to China based on the same line of argument: EU subsidises pork industry of EU countries. Several countries in the EU would be badly hit by China's retaliation: Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Germany, and Denmark. All these countries export pork a lot to China. This trade war between EU and China is good news for other pork exporting countries to China.
Who Run The World by Beyonce
From Seymour Hersh: "Readers of this column know that President Joe Biden's drift into blankness has been ongoing for months, as he and his foreign policy aides have been urging a ceasefire that will not happen in Gaza while continuing to supply the weapons that make a ceasefire less likely. There’s a similar paradox in Ukraine, where Biden has been financing a war that cannot be won and refusing to participate in negotiations that could end the slaughter." The New Abnormal??
THAT WAS QUICK. Gwen Garcia resigned from PDP the same day she welcomed Bam Aquino to the Cebu Provincial Capitol. Bam resigned from the Liberal Party choosing to form his own party for his 2025 senatorial bid. But he is still as yellow as an NYC taxi and as pink as fuschia. Incumbent Cebu Vice Governor Jun Davide is yellow as hell. But nonetheless it seems Gwen and Jun are now more aligned in their political persuasions. Gwen’s One Cebu will surely adopt BBM’s Parido Federal and Martin’s LAKAS - CMD for political and economic reasons. In addition, the Garcia matriarch will keep an unholy alliance with Davide’s Liberal Party. The overarching theme of this triumvirate orchestrated by Gwen Garcia is one and only one: THE POLITICAL...
