PHThe Office of the President (OP) itself rolled out exclusive invites to the country’s top bilyonaryos and politikos for President Bongbong Marcos’ star-studded birthday celebration, featuring a private Duran Duran concert at the Manila Marriott.
A Babbler got hold of one of the invites, complete with the OP seal, for Marcos’ 67th birthday on Friday the 13th at 7:30 PM. The glamorous affair took place at the Manila Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel, owned by bilyonaryo Kevin Tan. Attendees were asked to dress smart casual, with cocktails starting at 6:30 PM.
Notably, the invite kept details of the night’s program and special guests under wraps, instructing guests to leave their phones and executive assistants outside the ultra-exclusive event.
In a statement that got everyone talking, the Presidential Communication Office revealed that the party was a “surprise” organized by the President’s old pals. It said the President was totally floored and super grateful that the legendary band rocked out with their iconic tunes.
