I used a bond paper to present two perspectives of volume. The first perspective is when I turn the paper in crosswise and fold it to form a cylinder with a height of 8.5 inches and a width of 11 inches and the second perspective is when I turn the paper lengthwise and fold it to form a cylinder with a height of 11 inches and 8.5 inches in width. Do they have the same volume? Explain and support evidences of your answer

If its a cylinder with a circular base, then computing the area won't make use of the width. V=Area of the base × height
Thus, two cylinders will only be equal if they have the same height and radius and provided that the base is circular.
This qives a working equation of V=pi(r^2)h.
Bakit po width ang sinama niyo? Or is it the diameter? Kasi you need the radius not the width for the computation. If you meant diameter instead of width, then the answer is, mas greater volume for the one which has the height value of 11.
