PHOkay, so let's start with how I encountered it. On July 09, yesterday, my account got suspended due to unknown reasons, Facebook says I am violating community standards which isn't true at all, according to what I read in some articles, it's based on automated ban whenever the "system" detects something unusual (see screenshot below).
Note: I didn't even use Instagram for almost months now. And trust me, my Instagram is clean.
After that suspension, I'm frustrated, really, because my main account was previously also suspended and it got disabled for good because I panicked. This time I didn't rush it all. I followed the instructions in an article that I read that I need to:
1. Don't try to panic.
2. Don't try to logout and login many times when your account is already suspended because the system may trigger something to flag your account as malicious or something. This includes in different browsers or using VPN while trying to recover an account.
3. Install Facebook app, not the lite version but the full one (for more success rate because FB lite isn't that great when doing verification later.
4. After installing Facebook app, login your suspended account. Then you'll proceed to do two verification process (keep in mind that it depends on the account on how many process you should do).
5. For facial scan, trust me when I say this, get somewhere where the light can definitely aim at you, like good lighting. Because trust me, you only do this once so be very precise. For me, what I did is to really go outside for lights, hehe.
6. After that process, I've been asked for identity documentations like passport, Visa, national ID, etc. If you have those primary IDs, you're good to go. Just make sure that the picture of your IDs are clear as light. And for national ID on EGOV, don't try it because in verification process, it is stated in there that any IDs that is on a computer or phone screen will cause the appeal process to be totally rejected, I warned you.
7. Just in case you don't have that IDs, you can just select the I don't have that IDs. That's what I did, the secondary IDs, since it is not stated that it should be government issued IDs only, I used my expired, I repeat, expired NBI clearance and my physical credit card with a name on it. I know the credit card is something dangerous or something but lemme tell you, it doesn't have any balance and I think my account in the bank is already disabled or something. Then after that, you should see a "you submitted an appeal" with a date on it.
8. Let me remind you again, be precise or accurate because you can only do this once and once it's over like the appeal is rejected, it's over for your account, you can't take it back anymore (because I panicked in my main account that's been living since 2012 and now it's gone).
