What's Being Prepared
OpenAI is gearing up for a "back-to-school" campaign offering US college students a full year of ᑕᕼᗩTGᑭT Plus for free. The push is positioned around exam prep, study sessions, and final projects, but nothing has officially launched — no published terms, pricing details, or start date yet, based on leaked campaign material rather than an official OpenAI announcement.
Gated Eligibility
The offer isn't open to all students: it's restricted to more than 220 participating US campuses on an allowlist, so eligibility depends on which school a student attends. Verification will run through SheerID, the same identity-check partner OpenAI used for its other giveaways/offers.
