Heat from machine drying can make some stains considerably more difficult to remove.
If a stain remains after washing, inspect the garment before transferring it to the dryer. Treat and wash it again using a method appropriate for the fabric and type of stain.
Always check the care label before using unfamiliar stain-removal products.
Catching the stain before drying gives you another opportunity to remove it.
