Lightning strikes house in Quezon, kills father, daughter while having dinner
CATANAUAN, Quezon — A father and his daughter died after lightning struck their house while having dinner at Barangay Tagbacan Ilaya, this town, police reported on Friday. P/SSgt Michael Adao, Catanauan Philippine National Police investigator, identified the fatalities as Jomar Funtilar and his daughter Jona. The incident happened on Thursday, July 28, at around 5:58 in the evening, but it was reported to the police station on Friday.
