The Philippine passport fee is currently ₱950 for regular processing. APO Production Unit has proposed increasing it to ₱1,500, with a proposed ₱1,200 discounted rate for senior citizens and OFWs.
The DFA has asked that the increase be deferred until 2028, when the next-generation Philippine passport is expected to launch. As of September 20, 2026, the ₱1,500 rate is a proposal—not the current passport fee.
