Professors from Fujita Medical School in Chiba University performed a surgical experiment by moving a robot located in the National University of Singapore 5000kms away. The operation involved the removal of a cancer from a man-made stomach. The two locations were connected by private internet. The professors checked the accuracy of the robots movement at high speed. The surgical professors said, "The experiment turned out well. There is about 0.1 second delay but did not became a problem once you get used to it". Fujita Medical School thinks that this will be a great help for performing surgical procedures in long distances and further advances the technology in medical care. On October 14, a “ring of fire” solar eclipse will appear across a swath of the western United States, as well as in parts of Central and South America. The sun will be blocked by the moon, which will appear slightly smaller, producing the glowing ring in the sky. NEWS UPDATE. Vice President Sara Duterte says she was not involved in a traffic disruption caused by the closure of a portion of Commonwealth Avenue by the Quezon City Police District. She wrote to QCPD to probe the incident and "rectify the falsehood." In a statement on Thursday night, the QCPD says the incident stemmed from a confusion and lapse in judgement of their policeman manning the traffic during that time.
