Imagination is limited to those that are not open minded.
However, close-mindedness can fuel a specific type of imagination.
A fascinating paradox to unpack.
To imagine something truly revolutionary, you must first be open to the possibility that everything you currently know is wrong. But imagination is inherently about boundary-breaking, yet it can be strictly confined by the limits of our own open-mindedness. And imagination is not just the ability to dream. it is the courage to accept the unfamiliar so that new dreams have the room to form.
It is no about defeatism. Because defeatism shuts the door while open-minded acceptance simply looks for a different window. It requires and letting the death of the ego, observes the outside world, absorbs it, and uses that raw material to build something entirely new. It is the recycling of reality through a mind willing to be changed by it.
Changing culture should be done without forgetting it. True revolutionary imagination does not exist in a vacuum. If you completely erase the past, your creation has no context. It cannot connect with anyone.
Just put another next layer of human progress.
