God of the Gaps argument? Argument from ignorance, in where you don't understand that's where your God lies, pathetic. Everything you see can be explained rationally by Science, well not everything...yet. good question... You just found your purpose in life to find the true God... He gave us all that we need (reason, sense, critical thinking) all that we need to do is use it... Search, do comparison, ask the right people.. Don't just believe in heresays, and if you did'nt find God well atleast you can say to Him "oh, God by your Might, I have tried everything, use every source you gave me but i failed to find? The crusades, I would rather say is the brand of 'Christianity', that the west (the Roman universal Church) had given us, including the Trinity.
