I already answered our source of morality

Haha, I guess it's an I-give-up statement then. Well, I say the conversations were good atheist point of views. It challenges my faith and as believer it is a good experience. I appreciate the time and wish you a happy new year. May your wisdom guide you to your own goodness. Good luck to your journey.

P.S. Your source of morality is not the same as mine. If it does, then consider me an atheist as well. Cheers! :)

What if you believe in a wrong god this whole time and the true religion is the force?
:) good question... You just found your purpose in life to find the true God... He gave us all that we need (reason, sense, critical thinking) all that we need to do is use it... Search, do comparison, ask the right people.. Don't just believe in heresays, and if you did'nt find God well atleast you can say to Him "oh, God by your Might, I have tried everything, use every source you gave me but i failed to find? Then everything around you will testify if its true or not...We'll God knows if your lying or not anyways'...These life is a test a struggle...
"The prophet(s) said: the first in religion is to know your God..."
How can you worship a God if you don't know him?
Then if you have known your God.. Obey him... Seek every act to be near Him...

That begs the question if he's an all knowing god why would he test us?

No it's not it just proves I wasted my time explaining thing to you and didn't even bother reading it

Please don't put me in the wrong perspective, but as I see here were making God human to the point that were not even discussing God's perspective in asking why he ought aged Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac from his aged wife Sarah knowing that, from God's promise, he will father nations through Isaac, and their numbers will be as the sand of the sea, that would leave his son Ishmael from his slave wife Ketura the sole father of the renewed 'selective' nations of the entire slave world. In my point of view and from my personal belief, it's not a thing of morality or conscience (should be) in questioned here but rather a test of Abraham's 'faith' and that's where the atheist burden comes, when we inject 'the faith'. It's like putting God in the dock, and creation judging his creator's morality and evil misdeeds. Let me ask isn't God the father of all, living or not? Abraham, the father of nations sacrifices his only other son, is no different from God sacrificing his only begotten Son (his begotten power, through whom and by means of whom everything is created) to save his creation and setting an example to an hosts of powerful (created) angelic beings witnessing such selfless act so that 'humans' could understand faith and love and virtues.

سورة الملك, الآية 2:
الذي خلق الموت والحياة ليبلوكم أيكم أحسن عملا وهو العزيز الغفور

Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;

Why would he needs a some sort of sacrifice to save us if he already know what was happening because he is omnipotent which he supposed to know that his plan is doomed to fail from the start

Then he is not omnipotent then

I supposed you have weighed everything so I guess you knew the answer, that's why you ended up being an atheist.

As for me, though God is truly omnipotent, it will only be in the end, that we can clearly justify to believers and unbelievers if He did fail us or not.

But I believe by his grace He had shown enough benevolence for us to repent our own evil ways and thinking, whether He is Omnipotent, Malevolent or benevolent, it doesn't matter to me, I'm a believer.

Speaking of omnipotence, did you know that even though God rested on the 6th day( the Son's reign in heaven), his power (through his Son) never rested just as Jesus of Nazareth do the saves on a Sabbath?

If God 'spiritually' rested for a thousand years, will that diminished His omnipotence?

Please don't ask me why God needs rest in the first place.

All I know is He gave it as a law.

The sabbath day is under the power of Jesus the Christ, He's a god on his own for a thousand years period and after the end, he will submit his God-given power to the One, just as it was in the beginning.

So God will be once again reigns overall omnipotently.

Hate to break it to you buddy but Christianity is also a religion ;) No deity can ever save you from your own demise, this is the absolute delusion that religious people have, they don't seem to grasp reality, everyone will eventually pass. What matters is what you can do in the present natural world ;) To correct you, millions of lives were also doomed in the name of your God, what happened to the medieval crusades? wake up charlatan! IDIOT!
