Edit HD recordings just as easily as DV recordings. The new proxy editing feature in Video Pro X5 automatically or manually creates a version of the video file that more suitable for editing. This enables a smooth workflow and playback even when working on Long-GOP footage and low performance computers. Complex projects with many realtime effects and tracks remain workable even when the processor is overloaded. Performance can be further enhanced using the new, additional options in the video monitor for deactivation effects and/or plug-ins as well as decreasing the frame rate and resolution.
