A viewer doesn't always experience an artwork from one fixed position.
Large installations and sculptures can require people to walk around, through, or underneath them.
As the viewer moves, different shapes and relationships become visible.
This means the artwork changes visually without physically changing.
The viewer's movement becomes part of the experience.
Some installations even deliberately control the path people take through a space.
Instead of looking at art from a single spot, you're effectively discovering it one viewpoint at a time.
