PhoneLeash is an automated message forwarding utility that mirrors SMS, MMS, and call data to email or an external device. It features two-way synchronization, enabling users to reply to or initiate text conversations directly from an email inbox.Technical Specifications & Features
Core Functionality
- Two-Way Synchronization: Forwards incoming and outgoing messages. Email replies are converted back into SMS/MMS messages sent from the host phone.
- Threading & Formats: Formats conversations into clean threads (optimized for Gmail). Group messages retain participant lists, and email signatures are automatically stripped upon replying.
- New Message Initiation: New conversations can be initiated from email by formatting the recipient identifier (
@Nameor@PhoneNumber) followed by the message body.
