Hi guys, so yun nga nag update ako ng BIOS ko last week (Biostar H310MHP) sa latest version na available wherein mas madali i-enable yung XMP. But napansin ko, nag ra-random reboot yung pc ko as in mamamatay lang sya then mag open ulit.

Specs:
Intel i3 9th Gen
Kingston Hyperx Fury 2x8 2666
Corsair CV450 psu

Update: Okay na yung PC. PSU ang main cause ng problem

Hi there! It sounds like enabling XMP on your Biostar H310MHP motherboard after updating the BIOS is causing your PC to randomly reboot, especially when under load like gaming or using Photoshop. This issue is not uncommon when XMP profiles are not stable with the system configuration.

Here are a few things you can try to potentially resolve the random reboots when XMP is enabled:

1. Update BIOS: Make sure you have the latest BIOS version installed. Sometimes newer BIOS updates can improve compatibility with XMP profiles.

2. Manually adjust RAM settings: Instead of using the XMP profile, you can try manually adjusting the RAM settings in the BIOS. You can set the frequency, timings, and voltage to match the specifications of your RAM modules.

3. Test RAM stability: Run a memory stress test like Memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic to check if your RAM is stable at the XMP settings. If errors occur during the test, it indicates instability.

4. Increase RAM voltage: Sometimes, increasing the RAM voltage slightly can help stabilize the XMP profile. Be cautious and refer to your RAM manufacturer's specifications for safe voltage levels.

5. Check CPU temperatures: Ensure that your CPU is not overheating during heavy tasks, as this can also cause random reboots. Monitor the temperatures using software like HWMonitor.

6. Check PSU: Although your Corsair CV450 PSU should be sufficient for your setup, it's worth checking if the power supply is delivering stable power to all components.

By trying these steps, you may be able to find a stable configuration that allows you to use your RAM at its full speed without experiencing random reboots. Remember to proceed with caution when adjusting settings in the BIOS to avoid any potential damage to your hardware.
