1. open the squid config under /etc/squid/squid.conf you can use vi or nano
2. locate the http_port the default port is 3128 then you change it into 443, then save
3. restart the squid services by typing systemctl restart squid

Man you know how to solve 407 Proxy-Authorization?

Hi with regards to this error, what application are trying to communicate with squid proxy? can you show or explain the flow of communication, the 407 error means squid proxy is trying to communicate with the application but the credentials was not received by the 3rd party application.
