Duterte's China ties, allegations of corruption, and the Philippine election
Strongman's opponents must turn out in force in polls to safeguard political stability, sovereignty and economic growth The Philippines is heading to the polls on May 13 in what could be seen as a referendum on President Rodrigo Duterte’s ill-fated decision to steer the country away from its traditional ally, the United States, and towards an alliance with the People’s Republic of China. Increased human rights abuses, allegations of corruption, inflation, and joblessness have also plagued the Duterte administration. While Duterte himself is not standing for election, pro-Duterte control of the Senate will be decided, with major repercussions on legal questions such as Duterte's preference for more federalism. Such federalism, in an...
Philippines Can Escape From China--There's Still Time
The Philippines is already caught in China’s web, but there’s still the time and a way to escape from it. The time is now that its economy isn’t heavily dependent on China. And the way is by saying “no” to Chinese investments that could leave the country heavily indebted to Beijing. With relations between the Duterte Administration and Beijing warming up, China is expected to turn into a financier of the Philippines infrastructure “Build, Build, Build” initiative, promising a “golden age of infrastructure.” China is also a potential suitor for key Philippines assets, like the Hanjin shipyard. However, Filipinos are already beginning to see the negative side of China’s presence: a large influx of Chinese workers to the country at a...

Dutertards Ako Phc-Spymopats
LET THE MAN DO HIS JOB
I offer no apology for what I am posting, for this is truly how I feel. This is my opinion, not a debate. If you disagree, or find my opinions offensive, I'm perfectly fine with that and no, I'm not offended, feel free to unfriend me immediately. I have lived through several Philippine Presidents prior to our current President Duterte. In my lifetime, I have never seen nor heard of a president examined over every word he speaks, humiliated by the public to the point of disgrace, slandered, ridiculed, insulted, lied to and beyond common logic, threatened with death. I am truly ashamed of the people of my country. I am ashamed of the ruthless, hating, cruel, Duterte haters who display themselves as to having no pride, morals, ethics nor...

THE PUBLIC SHOULD KNOW!
THE PUBLIC SHOULD KNOW - Defense Secretary Lorenzana There are eight (8) reasons why we will stop the Peace Negotiations even if Jose Maria Sison will pursue or not: 1. The Government found out that during the last Unilateral ceasefire last 2016 until Jan 2017, the CNN (Communist Party of the Philippines/New People’s Army/National Democratic Front) held the largest and the 2nd People’s Congress (Oct-Nov 2016) & the Central Committee Plenum (Dec 2016) wherein they crafted a 3-Year Plan To Advance the Revolutionary Movement to include planning for OUST DUTERTE MOVEMENT if PRRD will not agree to a Coalition Government; 2. By January 2017, the National Military Commission of the CNN reinforces the earlier plenum Agenda. Thus, the CNN were...

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte to approve incentives for startups
President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines reportedly will sign a bill that’s put together to support startup ventures operating in the country, as told by KrAsia. The official statement released by the Senate early this year said that the ‘Innovative Startup Act’ will provide startup founders access to a US$192 million fund. Selected startups are said to also receive assistance in tax breaks, grants, and immigration procedures for tech workers. It also mentioned networking opportunities with potential investors, mentors, and national government agencies. The bill is called Senate Bill 1532 or known as ‘Innovative Startup Act’. It was ratified by the Philippine Senate in February. It will be processed into law and is expected to...
Fact Check Abias CBN
Why is main stream media acting this way? (It is *******t with possibilities) In the case of ABS-CBN: 1. Is it because BenPress Holdings (the holding company of the Lopez Group of Companies, the network being a company under its wing) indebted with billions with the government (unpaid loans at DBP) and they are being run after? 2. Is it because Hacienda Luisita whose land is being distributed, owes Benpress millions in loan/investment and therefore cannot be ρáíd anymore or recoup their investment? 3. Is it because some of the monies of the network are investments from American moguls (with alleged ties with the the CIA) who are affected by the independent foreign policy of the present administration? 4. Is it something to do with...

I am writing this piece for both the administration and the opposition. For the pro (Dutertards) and anti (Yellowtards) let us pause for a while and ponder upon the possible consequences of what we do. And please, be careful with what you wish for. The Filipino is worth dying for
Good evening mga ka PHC! Heto ulit ako magtatanong 😅 “The Filipino is worth dying for” Yan yung famous line na sinabi ni Benigno Aquino.
