MANILA, Philippines — Only one area in Metro Manila is under granular lockdown due to COVID-19, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported yesterday.
In its latest report, the PNP said a residential building in Quezon City has been locked down.
The figure is lower by 96.96 percent compared to 33 areas under lockdown on Nov. 10.
The building, which has about 22 residents, is being secured by four police officers and four force multipliers.
There are about 42 areas under granular lockdown nationwide, affecting around 48 families or 136 individuals.
The region with the most number of areas under lockdown are the Cordilleras with 28, followed by Mimaropa, seven, and Calabarzon, six.
