MANILA, Philippines — The camp of dismissed Bamban mayor Alice Guo has filed a motion to dismiss the quo warranto petition filed by the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) against her. This was confirmed by Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra on Tuesday. “Her counsel filed a motion to dismiss the QW petition last month. The OSG immediately filed its comment/opposition. August 30, 2024, Bulacan. At 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, the seven suspects allegedly pretended to be asking for financial assistance inside a subdivision. The suspects entered some houses inside a compound, drew short firearms, declared a “holdup,” and took six mobile phones, bags, a watch, a laptop, and an undetermined amount of cash. Two drivers were shot dead while their companion was wounded after a police officer opened fire while they were on a drinking spree along the national highway in Kabacan town, Cotabato province on Saturday.
