Hello, paano po mag install ng squid from source yung nakapackage siya, for example naka tar.gz.
nagkaka problem kasi ako sa paginstall ng squid sa debian 10 status 400 siya. kaya sana gusto ko other version ng squid install manually.

lods bat yung vps ko po ininstall ko tas wala sya dropbear nilagyan ko po sya nung auto recon nyo lods phc-exert

Try mo lagyan ng version pag magiinstall ka ng squid ..parang ganto pero di saktong ganito a --> apt-get install squid3 or other version of squid kung alam mo yung saktong version mas okay

sir question ko po is from source code or via link using wget na naka tar.gz

I-try mo nalang yung distribution version ng squid, then pag nag 400, saka nalang i-troubleshoot.

You have to unpack it:

tar -xvzf <name-of-package>

then compile mo. Hindi advisable yung ganito. Stick ka nalang sa distro version.

Oo kasi mas madali yung kung alam mo nalang yung version kesa magcompile kapa ..tsaka bakit mas gusto mo yung naka zip pa kesa sa ready to use na
