v1 po sya, hindi sir ako po yun maguupload ng video pakita ko lang sana router ko kung paano sya magreboot

ask pala kita paano ka ba nag-flash jan? through stock tplink firmware upgrade po ba?

alin sa dalawang file ko ginamit mo? factory bin ba ginamit mo?

walang issue sa akin magflash via. napakaraming beses na akong nagflash via ni minsan indi nabrick yung router. ang iiwasan mo lang yung power interruption during flashing.

the moment na kinick mo yung browse for bin file, iupload yun sa mismong /tmp RAM memory ng router. pag press mo ng upgrade dun pa lang talaga mag-uumpisa yung flashing process.

kung semi brick yung router., try to ssh or open putty terminal

try muna natin irestore into factory defaults by using this command

firstboot
reboot -f

after reboot at nagloloko pa rin router or still in semi brick mode.

try naman natin ireflash yung firmware via putty terminal pa rin.

use winscp, upload sysupgrade bin file ng cfw ko into /tmp folder. rename yung sysupgrade bin file ko into syupsgrade.bin exactly like that.

now we will start the flashing process on putty terminal

open putty terminal

type this commands

cd /tmp
sysupgrade -v -n sysupgrade.bin

antayin mo lang matapos yung flashing procedure, magrereboot ng kusa router mo.

check mo kung naayos na problem.

for supported tplink routers or other brands that fully support 3rd party firmware, yes direct flash lang siya sa firmware webgui upgrade page.

yeah expect ko lang baka na lost power yan kasi sa tmp ma stored ung uploaded firmware eh dapat hindi nya nireboot baka nag panic sya kasi nawala ung wifi tas hinugot ung power

malamang ganun nga ginawa nya. kahit lumipat ng wifi ssid walang issue yun, tuloy pa rin flashing sa router, ang problem eh kapag ininterrupt yung flashing procedure manually by powering it off or rebooting while flashing process is still on progress

sayang si router archer c20 8mb flash panamn sya,patulong po kung meron idea kung paano masolb problema ko.

paki-explain po what really happens on your flashing procedure. bricking device is a big issue for me na indi ko pinapalampas. ako nagbibigay ng mga cfw. so somehow may pananagutan ako kapag palpak na firmware yung nabigay ko. pero kung yung bricking ay kasalanan ng user by wrong
flashing procedure, well hugas kamay na po sa bagay na yan. i already give the simplest instruction on flashing. lagi kong nireremind na always use factory bin kapag stock firmware otherwise sysupgrade bin file kung naka-openwrt na. paki-sagot po. para maliwanagan ako sa issue ng device mo. thanks

yes ganun. palaging mas matagal yung firstboot ng every router during firstboot (after firmware upgrade/flashing) kasi may mga firstboot script lahat ng router na kailangan iexecute during firstboot. all firstboot script will automatically dissappear/erase on the system after the firstboot.
firstboot will reload only kapag ni-restore yung router into factory defaults.

all firstboot script can be found and inject on folder

/etc/uci-defaults

gumawa rin ako ng sarili kong firstboot script,
sa firsboot script ko, nilalagyan lahat ng firewall script for openvpn, dyan din ako ng-sesetup ng default na wifi password.

pero tulad ng sinabi ko, indi nyo makikita mga scripts sa folder na yan kasi naka-auto remove yan.

firstboot script is somehow similar to /etc/rc.local
file any scripts on rc.local will automatically execute during reboot. the only difference is that firstboot is just for literal first boot of the router whereas rc.local stays on system and continue its script/command every reboot.

ginawa ko po procedure sir nagflash ako via wifi kasi nga po wala ako pc,nasa 40% na sya bigla nalang wala connection sa wifi.tapos yun na po reboot nalang sya
