Question lang po, as an airplane climbs,
1. its mass increases
2. its mass decreases
3. its weight increases
4. its weight decreases

Hula lang. #2 and #4, they both decrease.
  • Nababawasan ang Mass kasi gumagamit ng fuel habang lumilipad ang plane.
  • Nababawasan din ang Weight habang lumalayu ang plane sa center of gravity. --Gravity = --Weight.

4 lang po kasi fixed na yung mass depende sa object pero yung weight nababawasan habang nalalayo sa earth's surface kasi humihina yung gravity
 
Constant ang mass kahit saang planets/asteriod/moon ka man nandoon.(theoretically)
Nagvavary naman ang weight sa layo mo sa center ng gravitational pull, mas malayo mas magaan.(theoritically) For this reason, I think kaya may paikot ikot minsan na mga eroplano, kasi nagbabawas sila ng kargang fuel para gumaan sila, bago makaland.
So si 4 yan.

Generally considering na yun fuel ay physical part ng aiplane at nagdedeplete syempre sa duration ng flight.
Pero kung yun plane lang mismo, walang nababawas sa mass nya unless may nahulog o nahiwalay na part or cargo physically habang lumilipad.

Weight is equal to mass times the gravitational acceleration.
Narereduce ang weight habang nababawasan ang gravitational pull sa airplane, isang factor kaya ito nakakalipad.
