Hi All,
This is general information on how you can flash different ROMs on your phone.
There are 2 ways to flash custom ROMs on your phone. You can connect your phone to your PC and use a software to flash it (usually done on dead/no boot devices), or you can install the ROM directly using a custom recovery (TWRP, CWM).
The most popular and easiest way is by installing a custom recovery, since you just have to download the ROM and remember the location in your internal storage and the customer recovery will have an option to install it. There are software developers that create custom ROM based on their preferred modification to the manufacturers ROM, the most common ROM modification is swapping low end ROMs from budget phones (myphone, cherry, star mobile) with good hardware to ROMs from high end phones (Samsung, Xperia). I have flashed my still working MyPhone Agua Rio with the said ROMs.
