the usage of the word "sound" is vague. If you mean, "does it produce soundwaves", then yes,at least if you are a materialist, and not an idealist), according to physics it does but If you mean sound in the sensual way the way it "feels" then no, because hearing something is different from the soundwaves and only exists, when somebody is listening....
