evolution is just a theory meaning there are no enough evidences that would attest that humans came from the species of apes. however if i am not mistaken we are 90% +/- alike with the apes. our genus is homo and our species is habilis, unlike the neandearthals and the like which we differ only in the species, a theory emphasized that the species like homo erectus, neanderthals and primates are wipe up due to natural phenomena, but charles darwin has emphasized on the theory which states " survival of the fittest" so due to the change of environment these species did not survive and lucky we are that at this point we are still existing.
