We have a newly born baby, and we've named him - IC KerJhan A. Oli (IC = Infinite Consciousness). Like IC KerJhan, you and I are Infinite Consciousness. Its just a matter of raising the ancient question to our own selves: "Who am I?" and discover/remember who we truly are...

If you think you know already who you are, for validation purpose the next basic question might be of help... "Who is God or What is God?" in the real sense of the word. That raised question should be answered not subjectively since every person has his/her concept of a God based on the teachings/dogmas/beliefs of their respective religions. Why not set aside now or simply go beyond religion for a while, and discover who or what really God is... once you've discovered the real God outside of religions, your self identity or self knowledge would surely change...and you'll be amazed! Its up to you how to discover/remember who or what God really is organically...You may look inside of you, in the deepest part of you, from the core of your being, and look outside of you, outside of this external world, the universe, multiverse if ever it exists. The link or connect between our self identity and God's identity, the answers to the questions "Who am I?" and "Who or What is God?" can actually be simple if we only free our minds (explore, and put ourselves out of the box), if we acknowledge and not take for granted all the energy or forms of energy within us and around us, and if we are able to communicate with the consciousness of the earth, the universe and all that exist by our own consciousness. Why anyone would wait for afterlife (or other dimension) in order to discover/actually remember who we are and who/what god is whereas multitude of clues are available all around us and even within us already in this life or on this dimension? And why those 2 questions would not be so necessary whereas all major religions and religious sects used to compete with one another about their respective concept of God if those people behind and within religion never see the importance of knowing who or what is their god in the first place? I guess your last line would be more correct if we add to: majority of people doesn't even stress themselves about those questions because they are already too stressed with the daily stresses/pressures in their lifestyle in this generation or simply locked up in their five senses without knowing/realizing they have forgotten something significant - at least the answer to the question "Who am I"

arent we just a speck of life that just happened to exist in this very small portion of time of universe? theres nothing special about existence, dont overthink it.

also due to the nature of the universe, everything is predetermined, as well as our actions ("causality", look it up). there is no free will, our existence is just a product of atoms and forces bound to interact in a specific way with each other. there's no real purpose of life.

I guess irregardless of existence as special or not, and irregardless of the presence or the absence of life's purpose, what matters is we are here at this point in time in this generation of humanity whether we like it or not, whether there's a free will or none; and if you really believe in a predetermination and causality nature of the universe, so be it, just accept it and enjoy without overthinking it or the best without thinking about it just like animals: dogs, cats and chickens that know nothing about their existence and purpose of their lives but living and enjoying at the present moment.
