Gusto mo bang mag-edit ng photos gamit ang AI without uploading them online? Check out Kokon, a free and open-source AI image editor that runs entirely on your own computer.

You don't need to learn sliders or layers. Just describe the change, like "remove the people in the background" or "make it golden hour", and Kokon does the rest using your own GPU.

System requirements

• Windows 10/11 (64-bit): fully supported
• Mac: Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) with macOS 15+ (beta)
• Linux: Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Fedora (beta)
• GPU: NVIDIA with 12 GB VRAM recommended; 8 GB cards work in beta but slower
• AMD / Intel Arc GPUs: beta support
• RAM: 16 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended
• Storage: about 15 GB free (the first-time model download is around 12 GB)

Important notes

• The app is free and open source, but the default AI model (Qwen-Image 2.1) has a research-only license. No commercial use, and that includes selling or using the images you make with it for business.
• If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC," click More info → Run anyway. That's just SmartScreen being cautious with a new app.
• Please use it responsibly. Don't use it to fake, harass, or impersonate anyone.

Pwede lods pero beta pa sa AMD. Medyo mas mabagal kaysa NVIDIA, at mas matagal yung unang image. Try mo tapos share mo dito result!

Paalala muna: Huwag yung green na Code → Download ZIP button sa GitHub. Source code yun, hindi yung app mismo.

Para sa Windows

1. Buksan yung GitHub link sa first post, tapos click mo yung Releases (nasa right side, o sa baba kung naka-phone ka).
2. Sa latest version (0.10.0), scroll down sa Assets at i-download yung Kokon_0.10.0_x64-setup.exe.
3. I-run yung .exe. Hindi kailangan ng admin. Kung lumabas yung "Windows protected your PC," click More info → Run anyway.
4. Pag-open ng Kokon, ide-detect niya yung GPU mo at magdo-download siya ng models (around 12 GB). Mag-WiFi ka, hindi mobile data. Okay lang kung maputol, magre-resume yan.
5. Tapos na! I-drag o i-paste yung photo, i-type kung ano gusto mong baguhin, tapos Enter. Pwede ka rin mag-type lang ng sentence para gumawa ng bagong image.

Para sa Mac (M1 or newer, macOS 15+, beta)

• I-download yung Kokon_0.10.0_aarch64.dmg, tapos i-drag si Kokon sa Applications.
• Kung na-block, punta sa System Settings → Privacy & Security tapos click Open Anyway.
• Kung walang Open Anyway button, i-run ito sa Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Kokon.app

Para sa Linux (beta)

sudo apt install ./Kokon_0.10.0_amd64.deb      # Ubuntu, Debian, Mint
sudo dnf install ./Kokon-0.10.0-1.x86_64.rpm   # Fedora

Tip: Bago sa 0.10 yung Prompt+. I-on mo lang sa tabi ng Quality, tapos mag-type ka ng maikling idea kahit anong language. Si Kokon na ang gagawa ng detailed prompt para sa'yo.

Reminder: Kailangan ng NVIDIA GPU na 12 GB VRAM (8 GB pwede pero beta), o AMD/Intel na 12 GB (beta din). Hindi gagana sa integrated graphics.
