•Click Create Token (or copy your existing one)
•You’ll receive an API key that starts with sk-...
•Treat this like a password don’t share it.
Check your balance
•Open Console → Dashboard
•You’ll see:
•Your remaining balance
•Your usage
•The list of available AI models
Use the exact model name shown in your dashboard, as available models may change over time.
Choose the correct connection
AgentRouter supports two API formats:
OpenAI Compatible

Use this for tools like:
•Cursor
•Continue
•Roo Code
•Open WebUI
•OpenAI SDK
•Most AI apps that ask for an OpenAI API key
Anthropic Compatible
Base URL: You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.
Use this for:
•Claude Code
•Anthropic SDK
•Claude-compatible tools
Important: Don’t mix the two endpoints. If you use the wrong one, you’ll likely get connection or 404 errors.
Connect your AI tool
Most tools will ask for:
•API Key → Paste your AgentRouter API key (sk-...)
•Base URL → Choose the correct endpoint above
•Model → Copy the exact model name from your AgentRouter dashboard
That’s all you need to connect.
Start using AI
Once connected, simply chat with the model or use it inside your app. Every request automatically uses your AgentRouter balance.
You don’t need separate API billing for each supported model your AgentRouter credits cover your usage on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Track your spending
Go to Console → Dashboard or Usage Log to monitor:
•Remaining balance
•Token usage
•Request history
•Total spending
