Inihayag ni Defense Spokesperson Atty. Michael Poa na nais ni Vice President Sara Duterte na manatili siya bilang kaniyang legal counsel sa impeachment trial ng Bise Presidente.
Ginawa ni Attorney Poa ang pahayag kaugnay ng naging pakiusap ni Presiding Officer Senator Judge Francis Chiz Escudero na magtalaga ng opisyal na tagapagsalita para sa depensa at prosekusyon na hindi bahagi ng kani-kanilang legal team.
