Empty cardboard rolls can become individual holders for cables that otherwise tangle together inside a drawer.
Loosely coil each disconnected cable, place it inside a roll, and write the cable's purpose on the outside.
Avoid tightly bending delicate cables.
When you need one later, you can identify it without pulling an entire knot of wires out of the drawer.
