An extra pillowcase can double as a lightweight laundry bag during a trip.
Place worn clothes inside it instead of mixing them back in with clean clothes. Unlike many plastic bags, a washable fabric pillowcase can be emptied directly with the laundry and washed afterward.
It can also be folded almost completely flat when not in use.
One ordinary item can keep an entire suitcase easier to organize.
