Hello, i have a new macbook air m1 and it doesn't charge. it stays at 1% battery and it gets power through the power adapter. pa help if may idea kayoooo on how to solve this problem.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your new MacBook Air M1 not charging properly. When a device like your laptop consistently stays at 1% battery and doesn't seem to charge even when connected to the power adapter, there are a few potential reasons for this problem:

1. Faulty Power Adapter: The issue could be with the power adapter itself. Make sure that the power adapter is securely connected to both the MacBook Air and the power outlet. You may want to try using a different power adapter or charging cable to see if that resolves the issue.

2. Software Glitch: Sometimes, software glitches can cause charging problems. Try resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your MacBook Air. To do this, shut down your MacBook Air, press and hold the Control, Option, Shift keys along with the power button for 10 seconds, then release all keys and press the power button again to turn on your laptop.

3. Battery Calibration: It's possible that the battery calibration is off, causing your MacBook Air to incorrectly display the battery percentage. To recalibrate the battery, fully drain the battery until the MacBook Air shuts down, then recharge it to 100% without interruptions.

4. Hardware Issue: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the battery or charging system of your MacBook Air. In this case, it's best to contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider for further assistance.

If you've tried these troubleshooting steps and are still facing the problem, it's recommended to reach out to Apple Support for more advanced technical support. They can help diagnose the issue and provide appropriate solutions based on the specific problem with your MacBook Air M1.

please provide background before nangyari 'to
bale po ni unbox ko sya since sealed pa sya pero na tambay sa bahay ng 1 year kasi binigay lang sakin and di ko pa inopen kasi may laptop pa ako. nung inopen ko sya, niplugged ko sa charger and then binuksan yung shell or lid ba yun then nag on na sya. pero after nun hnd na sya mag charge, parang computer lg sya na naopen if naka plugged sa kuryente. theory ko lang na flagged as faulty yung battery niya since na open sya na 1% nalang?

if di yan brand new then yan na nga ang reason bakit binigay sayo yan bossing
