"The Reason Is You"

My heart would beat out of the blue
Unpredictable and fast-paced
A rhythm so gentle and true
I wonder why it raced

I got confused and felt abused
By my heart being uncontrollable
Then you stole it and misused
My fragile heart that was gullible

It was about time that I realize
That for all of these, the reason was you
It explains how I was mesmerized
By nobody else but you

You're driving me crazy yet I don't know
Why I'm holding on to you this firmly
You got me spellbound, free me of this woe
Please stop letting me hold you tightly

You kept making me fall
And you turned my world around
Till I found out you were my all
I'll take this chance to kneel on the ground

Then time suddenly froze
A moment would be captured
Down it fell, the rose
I think my heart has ruptured

I was declined, got my hopes up high
While kneeling, my proposal crumbled
Our love that's never true was simply a lie
"This broken heart, the reason is still you." I mumbled
