PHHello, Good evening! I am wondering if anyone knows the process for recovering an old Yahoo account that I created in 2011 or 2012. I am currently facing an issue where only my name is registered on the account for the recovery email address (such as juan@yahoo.com). However, when I try to log in, I receive an error message stating, "Uh oh, looks as though something went wrong. Please try again later." Additionally, my previous phone number is no longer in use, although I do remember the old number. I have already contacted Yahoo customer service, but they have yet to provide a clear answer.
The reason I need to recover the account is to regain access to an old social media account, and this seems like the only way to recover it.
