The Pokemon Go Philippines craze continues with this latest development. Local retail giant SM Malls truly has got it all for you, as they announced that some of their branches will be turning into Gyms and PokeStops for avid fans of the game. The best part is that this effort to integrate the Pokemon Go craze will be available nationwide.
This is the latest marketing scheme to hit the country, following the footsteps of other local brands such as telecom giants Globe and Smart. Yesterday, the two rival companies also announced their support for the Pokemon Go Philippines launch by providing certain services like free mobile data for 7 days and using load to pay for PokeCoins.
Now, it looks like you can shop till you drop and make your claim to a Gym at the same time, thanks to the rapid response of the SM Management. Via Twitter, they claimed the following areas as places to be if you want to replenish supplies, or fight other people for supremacy! Scroll down below for the list!

PokeStops: You can find these in the following branches of SM. Take note that congested PokeStops might not get you as many Pokemon or supplies, but you can always use Lure Modules to increase everyone’s chances.
Official SM PokeStops are SM North Edsa, SM City Dasmarinas, SM Southmall, SM City Molino, SM City Baguio, SM City Trece Martires, SM City Rosales, SM City Sta. Rosa, SM City Olongapo, SM City Batangas, SM City Clark, SM City Iloilo, SM City Marilao, SM City Bacolod, SM City Baliwag, SM City Seaside Cebu, SM City Novaliches, SM City Lanang Premier, SM City San Lazaro, SM City Naga, SM Center Angono, SM City Megamall, SM City Marikina, SM Center Muntinlupa, SM City Bicutan, SM City Calamba, SM City BF Paranaque, SM City Consolacion, SM City Bacoor, SM City San Pablo.
Gyms: Some of the PokeStops are also Gyms, so train as hard as you can and collect as many PokeBalls as possible before you head on up to a Gym near your area. Again, take note that you may need to join a Team and gather your Teammates first before you attempt to take over an SM Mall Gym, only because these are heavily populated areas which may already have a Gym Leader.
SM Malls with Gyms include SM City North Edsa, SM City Sta. Rosa, SM City Southall, SM City Batangas, SM City Rosales, SM City Iloilo, SM City Clark, SM City Lanang Premier, SM City Baliwag, SM City General Santos, SM City Novaliches, SM City Calamba, SM City San Lazaro, SM City Taytay, SM City Bacoor, SM City Aura Premier, SM City Dasmarinas, SM City Megamall, SM City Molino, SM City San Paulo, and SM City Trece Martires.
Additionally, players who trek on over to an SM mall to train or fight other players will have another perk courtesy of the management. SM will be giving out Php 3,000 (or $64) worth of shopping money every day starting August 8 until August 12 via their #GottaCatchEmAllAtSM promo. All you need to do is upload a picture of any Pokemon you find at any of the listed branches above, and then tag @smsupermalls on Twitter and Instagram. The first winner of this promo will be
announced next Saturday.
