Idiot is a offensive words. Ginawa na siyang offensive words dahil another word for idiot is mentally incapacitated pagdating sa medical. Meron siyang cognitive impairment. Tipong ang intellectual quotient niya is below 30. Iyon ang meron mga mental illness.

Ang salitang idiot kase ay unclear kapag meron pinapatukoy sa isang tao and so hindi magiging akma kapag sinasabihan ng tao na idiot kung ang I.Q niya is mataas or mentally healthy naman siya. I think iyan ang rason why offensive words ang idiot dahil hindi siya akma sa tao na tinuturingan.

Kapag gusto ng clear at maidala ang message sa tao gusto na sabihan , pwede naman sabihin na kulang sa karunungan or lack of knowledge kung baga which is para sa akin ay akma siya dahil ang tao, meron kanyang-kanyang knowledge ang mga iyan. Ang knowledge ko based kung ano ang na received ko verses knowledge ng ibang tao ay magkaiba kami. Parang mahirap sabihan ng idiot kung ang tao na sinasabihan ay mas maraming alam kaysa sa tao na nagsasabi sapagkat meron kanya-kanyang expertise ang mga tao.

Ako , meron ako knowledge about Pagan, Satanism, Deism and Goddess at ang ilan sa belief system pero less knowledge lang ako sa bible at beliefs na pinapaniwalaan sa loob ng religion. It is either na ayaw ko tanggapin because ang pinahahawakan ko na karunungan is akin at akin lang , well , sa kabilang dako ang knowledge lang ng mga theist is within the bible. Kung baga expertise sila sa nilalaman ng bible at ako ay iba naman ang expertise ko o karunungan na hawak-hawak ko.

Im pretty sure na madaming successful na tao na walang mga degree and they have more of everything kumpara sa meron ka at ako…idiots pa din ba sila?? Or kung may multiple degree ano nmn un “over educated” na ba??

Dont get me wrong ha.. i value education and a degree very much… i just dont look at them as a yard stick for one’s intellectual capacity.. like nung time na my son dropped off sa list ng academic achievers for one quarter nung grade 3 sya because he got a line of 8 sa Araling Panlipunan… i didnt get mad…i was just curious as to what happened…and i know hirap sa mga subjects na done in tagalog kasi english speaking sya tlaga almost all the time… pero never ako nagisip na he’s less of a person because of that.. mas nagalit pa nga ako nung nawala sya sa conduct award eh…
