I tried to comment out lang sa software_upgrade.js ⇨ www/js/panel/router yung two function calls; getCpUpdateStatus() and GetSWVersionInfo()

This does not work, we found out the last time that the update downloads and installs a 4g modem to which there is no access yet.
The web interface you are changing belongs to the router, not the modem. You can change anything here, it will not affect the auto-update function.
Moreover, it does not work as you described.

Yes boss, na edit ko na din yun although yung isang known IP address lang na add ko; but as mentioned, this could not work as well din but it's good to try din as a possible solution.

Flash firmware nalang pag asa natin Master Lenar para may full control tayo sa modem. May nakapag extract at modify ng firmware dito kaso ayaw niya i share. For open line mahirap kasi they changed the PN facility password sa last update nila.
