🔒 Closed Plex or Jellyfin Question

Good day,

Been using Plex for a longtime now and always let my computer run in the background when I want to watch movies in my pc. I came across a site where it says you can upload your movies to google drive and you can access it from there instead. I know cloud streaming is very tricky and local connections is always best for buffer and quality issue but I will want to try this setup. Any ideas how I can do this? I tried to google it and look up in youtube but I wasnt able to find any instructions about this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

wala akong idea kung pwede yung cloud server, pero hindi ba mas ok kung nasa local ang files mo instead of cloud? kasi mag ddownload pa yung server mo bago mas stream ng client yung movie or music at magbabayad kpa ng subscription sa cloud services.

Gugmamit ka ng google api para ma link mo yung upload mo sa google drive may bayad nga lang sa google api pero may tricks parin kaso di ko alam kung mag bu-buffer ba sya, hindi kana gagamit ng google api kunin mo lang direct link sa drive ng video at gawin mo m3u tapos gumamit ka ng iptv player gumagana sya yan gamit ko ngayun sa playlist ko sa naruto tagalog dub dito.

hindi ko na natry yung ganyan since yung pc ko dito sa bahay ginawa kong media server, i9-9900k + 3TB storage. no buffs kahit sa office ako manood. mabilis din net ko kasi dito sa bahay 530Mbps Down / 200Mbps Up kaya solid.

ano gamit nyo plex, emby or jellyfin?
meron ako plex then nag try ako ng 1month pass, goods naman kaya nga lang nung isang araw ng down authentication & api server nila so hindi magaamit every time na down ang server.
nag setup na din ako ng jellyfin via reverse proxy ok naman, no buffs din sa remote browsing pero mas maganda user interface ni plex.

You can mount google drive or even shared drive sa plex server mo as local drive using rclone.
