Why Marine Officers wearing there Coats as Capes Oda will answer this. D: You know the coat that all those commissioned Marine officers wear on their backs? The one that says "Justice". That thing never falls of no matter how much the guy wearing it moves, but how does it stay on? A snap stopper? Or maybe super glue? Oda & Tim Burton As we know Eiichiro Oda is a huge fan of Tim Barton, now we can see how some Barton’s works have influenced three One Piece’s characters: -Brook is obviously Jack Skeletron (Jack Skellington), but there are also three famed musicians contributing to his look: Jimi Hendrix (Clothes+Fro) + Slash (Hat) + Ozzy Osbourne (Glasses). -Gekko Moriah is Oogie Boogie not only in appearance but for his hatred of Brook/Jack Skellington, his creepy little minions, and his powers with the help of Doctor Hogback. -Inazuma, who shares scissor hands with Edward Scissorhands.

Straw Hat Death – Myth & Fact Myth: Oda stated a crew member will die! Fact: Possibly one of the most famous forum rumors. Back in 2003, Oda was claimed to have given verbal word that a member of the Straw Hats will die. At the time, the series was still in Skypiea. Donquixote Rosinante’s References Corazon’s mouth tattoo(or make-up) resembles the one sported by the Joker from DC Comics in The Dark Knight movies, which is also the alias of his brother. In the movie the Joker burned down a hospital while walking away, similar to Rosinante burning one of the hospitals he sent Law to, even though the Joker did it because of his madness and Rosinante did it because of his hate towards the doctors who didn’t want to treat Law. The tattoo under his right eye resembles that of Alex from the 1971 film A Clockwork Orange.

When Rob Lucci killed 500 hostages and took the captain’s head D: In Chapter 422, it said that Rob Lucci killed 500 hostages and took the captain’s head. Why did he have to kill the 500 hostages? by Wiper is the Coolest!! ODA: I know, why? It’s terrible. Why couldn’t he just kill the bad guys? However, I had to shorten some things to make the pace move quicker. Lucci is a man who believes that “weakness is a sin”. Therefore, if these soldiers were weak enough to be captured and expose the country to danger, they could do the same thing again in the future. So he arrived at the answer that these weak soldiers did not have the right to live, and took action accordingly. It’s a hair-raising philosophy. Thanks for beating him, Luffy!!

Borsalino D: I have a question. Is the character of Borsalino based on Kunie Tanaka’s role of “Borsalino 2” from the Movie Truck Yaro: Bakuso Ichiban-boshi? –AkuaNoichigo O: You saw that movie?!
