Bakit tinanggalan ninyo ng budget?
Isa ito sa mga Foreign Assisted Projects na low hanging fruit from Duterte's Build Build Build. Isa lang ito sa maraming infrastructure projects na tinanggalan ng pondo.
Kasama sa Proposed ng DOTr na makikita sa National Expenditure Program (NEP) amounting to P68.374 billion (see attached NEP). Ang breakdown po nito ay:
Loan Proceeds- P46.690 billion
Government part- P21.684 billion
Total P68.374 billion
Pero ng dumaan sa Congress, sa BICAM, at ang makikita sa GAA?
ZERO.
NO BUDGET.
TINANGGALAN ng budget.
NILIPAT sa Unprogmammed Appropriations (NOT PRIORITY).

Ano ang dahilan ng more than half billion increase na ito?
Per GAA (approved)- P531.47 million
Per NEP (proposed)- P17.60 million
Increased by- P513.87 million
Compare this to their budget increase in 2023 that only amounted to P14.38 million.

Nograles urges Dabawenyos to come out and vote in 2025
Former Civil Service Commission (CSC) chairperson and ex-three term Davao City 1st District Representative Atty. Karlo Nograles is urging fellow Dabawenyos to come out and vote in the 2025 midterm elections.
Citing data from two previous elections, Nograles, who is gunning for the mayoral post here, noted the city’s low voter turnout.
“In 2022, the voter turnout in Davao City was just 74%, which means one in four voters did not cast their vote. That is significantly lower than the national voter turnout of 82.6%,” he said in a statement on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
