THE DUTERTES, THEIR SUPPORTERS, AND THEIR PRESUMPTION OF GUILT
In a world governed by logic and law, people are innocent until proven guilty.
But in the world of the DDS, the rules are different: you are guilty the moment they accuse you.
Evidence? Due process? Who needs that when you can just scream accusations into the void?
This is how they think. This is how they operate.
During Duterte’s war on drugs, accusations were enough to justify an execution. Politicians were called drug lords on national TV, their names plastered on lists with only one proof: just Duterte’s word.
And just like that, their lives, reputations, and safety were compromised.
This is how they smear their enemies today.
The president is called bangag with no evidence.
If you support the president? You are also bangag!
If you criticize Duterte's war on drugs? You must be a drug addict or a drug lord.
If you question their accusations? You must be a drug protector.
This is also how they silence critics of red tagging.
If you speak out against Duterte's government abuse? You’re an NPA.
If you condemn human rights violations? You’re an NPA coddler.
If you oppose red-tagging? You’re an NPA recruiter.
If you ask for evidence? You must be an NPA sympathizer.
This dangerous, mindless way of thinking is a disease. It turns the nation into a breeding ground for killers and accusers. No need for trials, no need for investigations — just pure, blind loyalty to whatever lie fits their narrative.
And now, they’ve extended this sickness to politicians.
Every bill passed? There is corruption.
Every impeachment vote? There is a bribe.
Every government action? They must be pocketing funds.
Presumption of regularity and presumption of innocence do not exist in their book. Only presumption of guilt.
This is not nationalism. This is not patriotism. This is mob rule. This is how you destroy a country from the inside.
A society that abandons logic, evidence, and due process is a society that justifies killings, fabricates narratives, manufactures fake news, and operates on fear instead of truth.
If we don’t push back, this sickness will destroy us from the inside.
