Why will the senate fast track the start of the impeachment trial e nakarecess na sila. Tama naman yung sinabi ni Senate president na the issue is on the lower house for transmitting the impeachment complaint 2 hours before the Senate will suspend its sessions - to give way to 2025 midterm elections. The decision to hold special sessions depends on the discretion of the senate members, of course, the senate president. But, I doubt that they will do likewise since some of them are re-electionists and busy sila sa campaigns nila. There is also a point na sinabi ni Sen. Chiz na after this election, will the 200+ representatives who voted for the impeachment complaint all be present on the trial? Will it affect the course of the impeachment trial? Maybe yes, maybe no. Time will tell us all.
