John Alfred Tinniswood is now the world’s oldest living man, following the death of 114-year-old Juan Vicente Pérez (Venezuela).
John was born in Liverpool on August 26, 1912 – the same year the Titanic sank.
Despite his advanced age, he can still perform most daily tasks independently: he gets out of bed unassisted, listens to the radio to keep up with the news, and still manages his own finances.
John doesn’t smoke and rarely drinks *******. His main advice for staying healthy is to practice moderation: “If you drink too much or you eat too much or you walk too much; if you do too much of anything, you’re going to suffer eventually,” he said.

The Firefly Squid is a squid that shines along its body with a length of 5 centimeters. They are always found at sea depths from 200m to 600m.
In the night of 12th of March, alot of these creatures were seen along the coast of Niigata prefecture in the city of Sado. These creatures tend to lay their eggs at shallow depths. Those who were not able to go back to the sea became stuck along the coast of Niigata and illuminated the coast with blue color during the night.
People who took some of these squids said that, "I think we can collect more than 10kg of them".
A person in an aquarium in Niigata prefecture said that, "The Firefly Squid lay their eggs until around April. I think we can see alot of them until then."

In the latest chapter of Elon Musk’s saga to take over the world with corporations named after the letter “X,” the billionaire tech tycoon just snagged a coveted URL: AI.com.

Metro Manila to Bicol E×ρréšš railway project frozen as China funding uncertain
MANILA — The government paused the construction of the Bicol E×ρréšš train as funding for the project has not been finalized, Philippine National Railways (PNR) General Manager Jeremy Regino said Tuesday.
In the initial plan, China was supposed to be the government's partner in funding the Bicol E×ρréšš train project, also known as PNR South Long Haul.
The country however is still uncertain whether this will push through, despite the ongoing construction of the North-South Commuter Railway that will connect Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, and Laguna.
The finance and transportation departments are working to find alternative sources of funding.

PNR’s NCR line to close by January

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Railways (PNR) will cease all of its passenger services in Metro Manila by January 2024 to give way to the civil works for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR).
PNR general manager Jeremy Regino told reporters that the agency will shut its daily operations between Alabang and Tutuban by the middle of January 2024.
Regino said the closure of PNR services in Metro Manila will affect as many as 35,000 Filipinos who travel on the rail line daily for its cheap cost.

PHL records 343 additional COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 1418
(Eagle News)–The Philippines has confirmed 343 new coronavirus disease 2019 cases, bringing the total to 1418.
The Department of Health said it has also recorded seven new recoveries, for a total of 42.
Three additional deaths were recorded, bringing the total to 71.
The new deaths were 70 to 78 years old.
All of them had no travel history.
Two of them were confirmed to have the disease after they died.
All new fatalities had other health complications such as hypertension, asthma, kidney disease and dengue
