Finding a home where they can build a life together is an important milestone for couples. Whether it’s a starter home or a big house, in the city or in the province, as long as your hearts are in it, it will be the perfect place where you can put down your roots and start a family. For Irene Vidaurreta and her husband, Benjie, building a tiny house in Ormoc, Leyte proved to be the best decision. It’s elevated and found on top of a hill, giving them the best view of the lush surroundings. "We moved in last March 2021. This used to be my friend and I’s weekend getaway but after getting married (also in March), my husband and I decided to live here," shares Irene, who owns the lot where the house stands. Engineers in Japan just shattered the world record for the fastest internet speed!
Engineers achieved a data transmission rate of 319 Terabits persecond (Tb/s). The new record was made on a line off fibersmore than 1,864 miles (3,000 km) long. And, crucially, it is compatible with modern-day cable infrastructure. This could literally change everything. Note well: we can't stress enough how fast this transmission speedis. It's nearly double the previous record of 178 Tb/s, which was set in 2020. And it's seven times the speed of the earlier record of 44.2 Tb/s, set with an experimental photonic chip. NASA itself uses a comparatively primitive Speed of 400 Gb/s, and the new record soars impossibly high above what ordinary consumers can use (the fastest of which maxes out at 10 Gb/s for home internet connections).
Acting President Leni Robredo
From https://usa.inquirer.net/70605/70605 By: Boying Pimentel “Being president doesn’t change who you are — no, it reveals who you are,” Michelle Obama said nine years ago when Barack Obama’s running for a second term. We are seeing this principle play out in the Philippines. Being president of the Philippines has revealed Rodrigo Duterte. It has exposed who he is. It has uncovered how he really views power, leadership, decency and the significance of being president. He has declared recently that he is having a great time as president, even as the nation reels from a pandemic and from the mass killings he inspired. It was his way of hitting back, like a gloating child, at a prominent critic: “Kami dito...

OCTA Survey Propaganda
The dds are rejoicing reading the last and ONLY ONE survey of the OCTA firm where sara is first on the list! I can't stop laughing on how gullible are the dds... If they had half a brain or just a bit of intellectual curiosity, they would make some easy research about this BRAND-NEW survey firm and doing so, they will find out that: OCTA is owned by CEO Rosini Eero Brillantes, husband to Geraldine Torres-Brillantes, ex-staff of Alan Cayetano. For those who already forgot, Cayetano run as duterte's VP! And, as if it was not suspicious enough, this survey firm has no record of any clients or surveys! You can visit their website, they have absolutely nothing! Any technical details on how they proceed to make their survey: nothing! Number...
Lies and realities in the vaccine race
© Provided by The Manila Times The huge global demand for limited vaccine supply coupled with an ever-evolving science and a worried public bombarded with misleading and incomplete information has posed challenges to policymakers as they chart an inoculation roadmap to arrest the Covid-19 health crisis and put the country’s economy back on track. Sensational and skewed social media posts and experts with conflicts of interest confound government’s attempts to canvass views from authoritative sources. Public good or private profit As countries worldwide race to undertake mass vaccination, one must understand that no single supplier can meet any country’s demand in the short run. And because of the more contagious and lethal strains...
The Philippines ranked 66th out of 91 countries in terms of suppressing the spread of the Coronavirus disease
The Lancet, a leading international medical journal, ranked the Philippines 66th out of 91 countries in suppressing the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), partly due to the “medical populism” of President Rodrigo Duterte. In a study published September 14, The Lancet ranked 91 countries based on incidence or the number of new cases per million population per day and also assessed mortality rates, tests performed, and effective reproduction rates (ERR). The Lancet COVID-19 Commission classified the Philippines as having “moderate transmission” with 37.5 new infections and 0.5 new deaths per million per day in August. The country also conducted 8.2 tests per case daily last month and had an ERR of 1.2. The Philippines has logged...

Sydney sets lockdown as Delta variant surges
SYDNEY: The streets of this Australian capital started to get deserted on Saturday as Australia's largest city began a weeklong lockdown to contain the highly contagious Delta coronavirus variant, with authorities warning broader restrictions could follow. More than 80 Covid-19 cases have been reported so far in an infection surge linked to an international flight crew transported to a quarantine hotel from the airport. The flare-up was a shock for a city that had returned to relative normality after months with very few local cases. The sudden curbs took effect at midnight, affecting an estimated 1 million people across Sydney's business district and affluent eastern suburbs. But the spread of the outbreak beyond the four...
